Jai Zharotia's vocabulary emerges from the hinterland of myth and reality. The sense of mystery is prominent in his world that is inhabited by primordial beings that question the mystery of creation, life, death and the metaphysical.
Zharotia's symbols and composite imagery is a culmination of his exploration of the local surreality. The metamorphosis of human, animal and plant forms convey the fantastical. He invents a new reality from the womb of creation and like an archetypal magician reinvents the familiar, thus, juxtaposing the complexity and mystery of our universe through his intuitive logic.
