DHIRAJ CHOUDHURY (1926 - 2018)

A quintessential Bengali at heart, Dhiraj Choudhury's works can be described as that of an artist in search of utopia. With his ability to easily create a harmonious world, with humans and nature in sync with each other, he has succeeded in capturing Bengali rural romanticism. Choudhury is a prolific painter and uses colour and line as his core visual language to express himself.
